Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

1. The short version

We store what's needed to run your planner, we don't sell your data, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

2. What we collect

Your name, email and password (stored encrypted); the tasks you create; your reminder preferences and timezone; if you subscribe, your payment is handled by Stripe (we never see your card number); basic technical logs to keep the service running.

3. Letter scans

When you scan a letter, the photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to extract tasks, then discarded — we do not store your photos. The extracted tasks are stored like any other task. We count how many scans you've used each month.

4. Emails & notifications

We use Resend to send your daily brief, sign-in codes and account emails. Push notifications go through your browser's push service. You can switch reminders off in Settings any time.

5. Who we share with

Only the processors that run the service: Railway (hosting & database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Anthropic (scan processing). We never sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

6. Cookies & storage

We don't use tracking cookies. We store a sign-in token in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion. Use the contact page and we'll act within 30 days.

8. Data retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and tasks are permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll email you.
